History of Curtains Toowoomba

Owner and operator Judy, has been in the custom window coverings industry since the early 2000s. Back in 2006 Judy and her husband Ian purchased Low’s Blinds & Curtains from Dawn and Denis Low, who were wanting to retire on the coast. Low’s Blinds & Curtains has been servicing Toowoomba and surrounding areas since 1978. In 2010 Curtain World Gatton was purchased from Darryl Eising who also wanted to retire after running successfully running his business successfully since the late 70s.

Judy operated the business from her showroom in Gatton, QLD until 2017 when she decided to transition the business to be 100% mobile, and has been providing a mobile custom fit window covering business to residents and businesses across Toowoomba, the Lockyer Valley, Somerset, and Darling Downs regions.

Judy carries an extensive range of quality curtain fabrics, blind swatches and shutter samples. So you’ll be spoiled for choice. What’s more she’ll bring them right to your home during the free measure and quote. With the exception of one line of shutters all her curtains, blinds and shutters are manufactured in Australia by locally owned and operated companies. All products are extensively tested for quality assurance and come with lengthy warranties to provide peace of mind that your newly installed window coverings will provide many years of joy and functional benefit.
